Great camo for hiding in trees or against trees I think this would be an Ideal turkey camo for ground level.
Some of the photos on the web-site I cant hardly see the guy..
The concept I have gravitated to is a high contrast of lights and darks to brake up the human outline for tree stand hunting anyhow.
Good camo to us up against a tree looks great but if a deer looks at you up against the sky you still get skyline. So to me when using good camos like this but are void of the high contrast of lights and darks I would make sure to have a good back drop to avoid getting busted by getting sky lined .
Using a high contrast camo helps make your silhouette less noticeable against the sky .
An example that comes to mind of this type of camo is "Predator Camouflage"
Great Camoflage and this is just my opinion and advice when using camos like "Ultimate Camo" |

True but you have to factor all things in and when it comes to a chance at a buck of a lifetime . I want every edge I can get.
I have been bow hunting deer since I was 11 yrs old I am 38 now and there has been a lots of times using camo void of contrasts before switching to high contrast camos , where I was motionless with a deer walking up the trail and have had deer stop look up at me and do the side to side with the head then the hoof stomp turn and bolt with the flag up....
So it's not just about holding still as the fix although it is one factor to remember.
Like I said bark type camos are awesome for Turkey hunting or hunting at ground level and this is one of the best I have seen ,but when using them in tree stands for deer it's wise to have a good back drop to help avoid getting sky lined .
So when hunting in an area where a back drop is not available then we run that risk ....... |
